My Bookshelf

You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their bookshelf. I’d love to share with you a peek at mine. I love to read! I have to admit, since becoming a mother I have done a lot less of it due to time constraints. So when I pick up a book, I want to make sure it’s a good one and worth the time. I’d like to share with you some books that I think are worth it!

Passionate Housewives Desperate for God by Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald was an amazing book. Full of honest truth, encouragement and conviction, if you only read one book this year (aside from your bible of course!), I would recommend it be this one. It was that much of a blessing to me!

Loving God with all your Mind by Elizabeth George is another favorite of mine. I  have truly enjoyed reading many of her books but this one had an amazing impact on my life! It has been a while since I read it but I refer back to parts of it on occasion. If you are like me and sometimes struggle with regrets of the past, concerns for the future or sometimes just feel down, this may be a blessing to you as well.
